Levied Soldiers
I have a quick, and maybe stupid, question. You know that when a player attacks an enemy town that some levied soldiers are automatically made for the defense. Now when the enemy attacks my towns i dont get any levied soldiers. That puts me at a huge disadvantage. Is there a hint or a patch out there?

Re: Levied Soldiers
I usually keep free upkeep units as garrisons, and keep my better "Feudal" forces in stone forts, or some key settlements where they can easily move to relieve besieged settlements.

Re: Levied Soldiers
last time i was attacked im pretty sure i got a free levy. it depends on when they attack. if you assault a city with siege equipment then the local militias dont have time to gather. thats why i like a lot of artillery.

Re: Levied Soldiers
If you don't have artillery, then get some spies.

He's talked about his own towns, not the enemies.
And I'm pretty sure the player doesn't get any levy, it's probably a part of the;
"AI Needs a Helping Hand" campaign...
