Will this be out before Empire?

Hello

Sorry to ask this, but will this Mod be out before Empire comes out in Feb, the reason i ask is, all the previous Lord of the Rings mods have always come out as a new game is released and i install the new game (last time it was Med 2) and i don't go back to the previous, so i miss out on the old mods, i really want to play this mod.

p.s loving the work so far, hope this game makes me replace stainless steel which at the moment is my love!

Yes, it will surely be out before Empires.
However, why don't you want to go back to previous tw games once empires is out?
Empires and Medieval will be totally different games with totally different tactics and personally I prefer ancient and medieval warfare much more than this gunpowder warfare of empires.
From my point of view, there was never a more primitive and simpler warfare in history than the gunpowder area of empires and for me the only improvement of empires will probably be the naval battles. Even the graphics of the land battles don't seem to be very improved. Just my opinion...

This seems kind of....for lack of a better word silly. It seems like a waste to toss the old games to the side. I find that the total war games gotten worse as they precede and this why I only play RTW and it's mods (except when this mod and The Last Kingdom come out then I am switching temporarily ).

RTW is my all time favourite and perhaps after this mod is released medieval 2 will be one of my favourites aswell

that's mine and everyone i know, problem.................going back feels wrong. I loved the rome period, which is my favourite, but going back to that engine makes me cringe..........the combat animations are lacksum and repeat too much, the effects are poor, the landscape is boring...........it just pains me.

going back to the Rome engine is laughable..............all the units the same lol............i did think it was amazing at the time but now all i see are the faults and the improvements made (ideally want rome in med 2)

i have looked at the land battles on empire and the engine is beautiful ( building fortifications in the field, manning buildings, dismountable troops...........the strategies are doublefold, and have you seen all the melee animations) , and yes i kind of agree it will be a different sort of battle, but i am afraid it will take my time away from med 2 (stainless) which KK you have done wonders with (doubt i can go back to the vanilla med 2 lol)

not meant to be causing an argument here lol, just my problem with following the mods i like

I still play the XL mod of the first MTW from time to time. That is one of the advantages of mods;they extend the life of a game immensely. And since I never play any TW game unmodded, I will definitely play TA:TW before Empire.
