The battle of Hastings

The battle of Hastings has always been of intrest to me because it was a major turning point in my country's history. I remember having a lot of fun with a game called Medieval II (no not the current one) about 5 or 6 years ago trying to win as king Harlold and defeat the conquest of England. Sadly when i tried to run it again recently it would not run anymore. So i was wondering if there is a mod about which features that battle as a historical battle. Or just a downlodable historical battle which would let me play Hastings again and would work with Rome Total War.

I was wondering M2TW has the battle of Hastings but you fight as William which is not what i want. I have no experance of modding. Would it be possible to modify that battle so you could fight as King Harold If it is possible would it involve a lot of editing.
