princesses not showing up and accent changing

I am currently playing a game where I'm trying to keep 1 family in control of the faction(yeah i know inbreeding might have to be resorted to) and some of my princesses appear and get married , but one of the general has 4 princesses but as soon as they turn old enough to be an agent, they switch to a portrait of a wife or non-active princess and dont appear on the minimap, is it some weird glitch or is it a data problem? thanks for your help. also would it make a difference if I am playing a custom faction?


My second question is that I want to know if there is a way of making another faction have a german accent while keeping all the other factions ,including hre, with their normal accents, i know it has something to do with the postitioning the descr_sm_factions but im not sure.

In the descr_sm_factions, does the line for the faction you are playing as say
can_have_princess no
If so that is the problem.
For your second question - descr_sound_accents.txt - then delete your events.dat and events.idk in the sounds folder - only do this if you are using a mod folder! Otherwise, you'll have to extract the contents of the events files into data/sounds/events.

i have princesses its just that some aren't appearing and thx for the accent stuff

Glad to help....it's really funny about the princesses. Maybe the problem is your descr_campaign_db.xml?

I think it has something to do with amount of princesses allowed, cause now all the other princesses are starting to do it and i already have 5 or 6 so mabye it is the descr_campaign_db.xml, or mabye its hardcoded, but thanks for the help.

It's likely they are not of the Royal line, only female's born of the faction leader and heir can become princesses as I understand it.

what about if there all in the same family with same last name?

oh and also a son of the original faction leader had 4 daughters and all of them dont work.
