New card. Although it has to be pretty damn old to not support Shader 2.0, IIRC a 6600 GT supported 3.0...

You need a new video card, I have an old one it's a Nividia en 6600
PCI-E and as shader 2.0. Bought it almost 3 years ago and now if you can find one it shoudn't be expensive but if I were you and if you want to play other more recent games I would look for maybe a completely new PC or Upgrade yours if you can.

Try and go to a Pc component store for a new graphics card. Get an NVidia 9000 series (or so) for about £30 ($50?).
Although this may disappoint some people, I am indeed alive, I just went inactive for three years.

Actually, get an NVidia 7600, 7900 or an 8800. The 8600/8500 models attempted to support DX10 at a performance reduction, and are so comparable to the 7600 model, while a 7300 is just a bit better than a 6600.

Now that I'm home, I use the NVidia GeForce 9600 series. The price I made it out to be was part of an offer - it should be more if you just buy the graphics card. Coem to think of it, it cost a fortune by itself. Get it as part of an offer, or get the 8800.

With a card like that, I think you're game would be operational and that's about it. No large battles for you! Seriously, your card doesn't even support Pixelshader 2.0 and that's just shocking compared to modern graphics cards which support 3.0 and better.
