Default Does anyone know what Laser Safety Procedures are??

Not sure if this is the right place for this, but I need to research and report on Laser Safety Procedures and the importance of keeping accurate safety records for an assignment I'm doing for my Systems Support IPRO course. I've looked on the net for ages, but I can't find what I'm looking for! Can anyone point me towards a site that could help?

Thanks in advance for any help.

I found that site as well, but I think the assignment is speaking of lasers to do with printers and scanners, stuff like that. Google is usually my friend, but not in this case!

Try looking for info on they TYPE of lasers relevant to what you're looking for.

I've used these types of lasers at work...

...and used to do work for StrictlyFX.

But, that has little relevance to the types of lasers you might be looking for...

Sorry I can't answer your question. But, in this case, Google is still your friend, you just have to refine your search a bit...

I've done some work in a lab that had a laser, but the only safety instruction I was given is "make sure your eyes aren't at the same level as the laser if it's on, because you can go blind". Unless it's really, really strong, I don't think you have to worry about anything other than blindness.
