Ok so I'm really just wondering:

The pleasure about a dream is that it's a fantasy. If it ever came real then it wasn't a dream.
A) Corruption is heavily influenced by the Distance from the Capital, It reduces your income.
B) Yes. Build a Townhall and get a governor with high loyalty/management.
C) See Above, They can cause it, and fix it.
D) Yes, the bigger the army, the more devastation. Although duration of the enemy being there effects it also. Allied forces also cause devastation, although not as much.
E) To a degree. yes, Always try to have military access when talking through neutral lands.
Hope I helped!

A. Corruption is when your General Governor is taking away money from his city's income for his own greed. On the other hand, corruption can add to your city's income, but this is usually to a far lesser extent.
B. Build the Town Hall and City Watch buildings - basically any buildings that increase law. Kick out the governor if he is corrupt, and replace with a law-abiding governor. Or, if corruption is occuring on the outskirts of your empire, move your capital city closer.
C. Some "good" generals will decrease or entirely stop corruption, others are the primary cause of it.
D. Devastation is the effect that armies have marching in your lands, yes. What it basically means is the army is living off the land, eating all your crops, which consequently reduces your farming output, in effect decreasing your city's income.
E. Any army devastates. Your own, ally, neutral or enemy. Regardless of what area you are in - if an army isn't in a city, they will cause devastation.
Hope this helps
Both of the above are great answers. I would like to add that I do not think there is devestation in rebel provinces where faction armies are present. I think this may be the only time though.
Does devastation cause a lot of loss or is it minor? I've always been to lazy to kill the small rebel armies and I just leave them there. Is that going to have a huge impact or small one?
The amount of devastation caused is relative to the size of the army and how long it sits in one place. In my experience an army on the move causes virtually no devastation, however an army that sits in one spot for a few turns causes great devastation that will take many turns to disappear even after the army has moved away.
Devastation appears on the map as a gray/brown spot around the army, the worse the devastation the more discoloured the map gets. An large army that sits in one spot for many turns will cause a large black smudge that will not go away for 10 turns and causes over 100 florins a turn to be lost even after they have gone.
If it consists of a couple of units, it shouldnt be any problem to kill. If its a larger force, it will bleed your economy fast, especially early on in the game. Kill it!
Although this may disappoint some people, I am indeed alive, I just went inactive for three years.
