No presidential canidate in the history of the United states has ever overcome a 10 point handicap... Honestly unless Obama bombs a church or gets shot I think he might actually win this...
Btw, sorry if this should be in the presidential election thread, I just thought the fact that he 10 points ahead might deserve a topic all in itself...

At this point I don't even know who to root for anymore.
At this point I'm just praying for divine intervention where a lost piece of the Dead Sea Scrolls is found proclaiming Steven Colbert to become the de-facto president by divine mandate.

I was all over McCain till he picked Sarah Palin. He is no way the same guy he was in the start of the campaign, it feels like McCain now just cares about winning only, and picking Sarah Palin to get the conservative Christian voters just dosent sit well with me. I would think you should choose a vice president who covers your weakness, like someone with a good economics bacground or something.

Is it really 10 points in a national-wide poll that includes the right number of persons from all parts of society? Or it's a poll on a certain part of the USA society?
