Default William tell with a Saker

So then,I am just wondering, does anyone else notice that the AI seems to have dead aim with their field guns, whereas the player is really hard pressed to hit much of anything at any range??????it would seem almost as if everytime i hear a cannon booming in the distance,I can expect to see a row of my men fall.

Actually, I find that the accuracies are reversed. Mine never misses and I hardly ever even notice that the enemy has any artillery at all (besides the odd explosive culverin shot).

what faction do you use typically,or can this be said of both??I am wondering if there is a veriable..or is this not possible..unless of course the ones i ahve ben facing are very experienced,as in several chevrons.does that make a difference???the experience level of the unit affecting accuracy??

i find that my games are like Spamostoc's. usually i play as the royalists but i think it works for both

Communism: replacing one elite with another since 1917.
Liberalism: the belief of letting people avoid responsibility for their actions.

Yeah, my last games as the Parliament had aforementioned result. Also, the AI's armies are basically gutted by the time any of my units gain mentionable experience. As far as I know, accuracy is one of the hard-coded elements of the game.

Unforunately this has nothing to do with the mod. It's been a bug since MED2 1.0, the AI is super accurate against generals with all forms of siege engines.

    Cheers

Yeah, but my artillery couldn't hit the side of a barn from the inside until this mod...

i play on VH/VH. maybe its fighting styles? i tend to like staying defensive and skirmish untill the enemy gets to my main line. when im forced to go on the offensive i usually use horsemen as a screen. my cannon are usually always behind my main line execpt if forced to be placed on a far off hill or in the line itself.

My style is heavily offensive, with the philosophy of more time stationary = more shots = more kills. Hence, I never move the artillery, which is usually in range for the duration of the whole battle while the rest of my army focuses on the enemy line from left to right.

i find my cannons will kill maybe 6 men each , and the enemy cannons will deploy on a hill a long way off and just fire randomly and never hit anything

then my cavarly/dragoons chase them down ^-^
