I would ride with you.

I am personally a great fan of the inroads that M & B made with their combat system. The horses and requirement that you have skill when bloacking and swinging blades, not stats!!! blew me away..

I also liked the fact that most of the gear was historical and no magic hogwash was to be seen as far as I could tell.

Have not played M & B since a demo years ago though... understand its retail now.

P.S. If mount and blade could be combined with ww2 online........:hmmm:

WOW! FKoC and M&B are the only 2 games I play these days! Seeing ECW in M&B would be great. There are many mods with engines already with developed muskets and pistols so no problem there! Go AD!

More well-deserved publicity for an excellent mod.

And definitely agreed about ECW and M&B, I actually made a basic pike&musket mod for it back in the day, but the lack of AI formations reallly limits it. Now that the AI has some basic line-forming ability an ECW mod would be possible, and amazing.

Good job AD, your design philosophy is excellent, and the aversion to feature creep excellently shows your previous experience in software dev. I am starting out in software dev. myself and know quite a bit about feature creep, but it still snuck into our mod, perpetually postponing our release

I never forget those that help out! If I had bothered with a beta testing period then my choices for testers would have been obvious.

I'm not sure how popular GameonYou is, but it cant hurt! So far there's been around 6000 downloads which is incredible.

I don't play it too much anymore, i got so fed up with mods being constantly put out action by the latest patch. Most of the mods haven't caught upto .903 yet, let alone .96
