no
"...and all the men and women merely players."
Are you sure?
The Gold Edition comes with M2TW+Kingdoms fully patched and comes in one DVD disc. You will be better off purchasing the Gold Edition, then buying M2 and its expansion separately.
So there is really no difference?
The price difference is huge here in Sweden..
Where can i find "patch 1.5"? Or do I need to install it if I buy and install the expansion aswell?
http://www.totalwar.com/
Go to support and than medieval 2.
There you can find the patches (I hope so). If you buy the gold edition I think you don't need to patch it anymore. Only install it. And YES there is no difference
EDIT: Welcome to the forums!![]()
There is a difference... And that difference is in what patch you get for it. Shop carefully (for the patch). The forums are littered with people asking why their game is freaked out, and they installed the wrong patch.

Thanks !
And thank you for all the answers.
I found the Gold Edition for 400 SEK, wich is about 40 EUR, so I ordered it.
