    Hi, legiox89,

theres a problem with the financial in medieval 2, 1.2...
There is no problem, unless you have a flawed installation (not likely). I assume you are playing on M/M difficulty (that is the default, if you do not change any of the difficulty settings).

...for example i get from a building market 20 florins,...
That is likely because your diplomat has not been out getting trade agreements with your neighbors. Get that guy moving! Your trade is dependent on which cities are available to trade with, the upgrade level of market you have and (IIRC) your population. The higher upgrades of markets might or might not be worth the investment. But the basic + first upgrade of trading posts, ports, roads, and mines are definitely worth the investment.

Rebels, sitting on your trade routes, will strangle trade; so kill those thugs before they kill you economically.

...theres also some serious unbalanced, when i start a campaign, i have 10000 florins, then next turn i see on the financial ranks on different factions, theyr all got over mine ...
Some factions start with more (or less) territories; some with more/less money; some with more/less military. Variety is the spice of life.

... i always get lower income while the others boost up, u got any idea what this is? I hope u agree me that this sucks...
Ahh... now this... this... ... is a personal problem. There should be no reason why other factions have higher financial than you after, say, turn 40. *IF* you are building up your economy (markets, ports, roads, mines, merchants), and doing even a modestly good job of military expansion, then you should be pounding your opponents financially as well as militarily; even on VERY HARD difficulty, wherein the AI factions get bonus cash each turn.

Try it again, paying close attention to your economic infrastructure. In the first part of the game (first 20 turns), spend --AT LEAST-- 80% of your income on economic infrastucture. You should be building something in every settlement, every turn, unless there is no economic building available in a settlement. If you cannot do this, it is likely because you have too much military. If so, kill them off by capturing more cities.

    I hope this helps.

I understand what u mean, those small trading and such increasing income with ca 60 florins doesnt help, im talking about extreme differences, as 40-60 000 florins, judging of the financial rank and enemies advanced constructions. Other factions boost up money with ca 30 000 or more after the 1st turn, while mine is stabil. any idea whats wrong?

What faction are you playing as?

What faction are you talking about which has this huge income?

    What turn is it?

    What is the game difficulty?

Are you using any mods, or have you tweaked the game in any way (and if so, how)?

I am talking about vanilla M2TW, patched to v1.02 (commonly called 1.2). I have yet to play a game, wherein I was not leading financially by, say, turn 50. Until that time I was typically near the bottom financially, because I was spending all my money on buildings which would earn me more money.

The finance chart simply shows how much TOTAL money a faction has on hand. If a faction has 50K Florins on hand, they are typically grossly mismanaging money (not building needed infrastructure for growth). I don't worry about the faction that has 60K on hand, if I am making 80K PER TURN, and spending 40K per turn on troops, 40K per turn on building more buildings, and show as the poorest faction in the game. I will get much of that faction's 60K when my raging armies sack his cities....
