    Default modding help : hidden resources

    Hello! I need a little help, so if you want to tell me few trick, i would appreciate it a lot! I want to add few historic buildings, which would be specific for a certain region (like Temple of Jerusalem). I want to add Olympic Games and Pan Athenaic Games. This is no problem for me. I added it to export_description_buildings.txt; added description of the buildings, added icons and pictures of the buildings. Now the problem is, what exact hidden resources should i write to requirements for these buildings, so i couldnt build Olympic Games in every province I conquer.

    To put it simply: what is specific hidden resource for Athenai Region, and what is specific hidden resource for Olympia Region? If there are no such uniqe hidden resources for these two regions, is there a way i could add something like hidden_resource_olympia to olympia region and do the same thing with Athenai region??? thanks a lot!

    edit: now my game wont start with my tweaked export_descr_building.txt; it crashes even before the menu is loaded and there is no message why it happened, but it only happen when i altered the file, when the original is in the data folder, everything is ok... ergo what is the problem with my code??? my first thought was it was because some building limit, but no, i deleted some building tree and it still crashed... i read my code but the syntax seems to be ok... i reall dont know ((

    btw this question would may be in modding threads... but it is closely related with Roma Surrectum 1.5b, so...

    ok.. i solved the problem with the crashing - the code was ok ... but still didnt figured out the hidden resources...

    am i not great? i even solved out the problem with hidden resources ... now the Pan Athenaic Games can be build only in Athens, because i added "requires hidden_resources legio18 and hidden_resources gre"

    now there only remain last obstacle: it doesnt seem that olympia have any combination of hidden resources, which could be used to make specific requirements for single building, so ill try to add to descr_region.txt some hidden resources to the region of Olympia. hope it will work!

    EDIT: propably resolved the Olympic games... will have to wait for development of olympia to the huge city level to see if everything is ok... i cant see the icons for pan athenaic games and olympic games, because the building tree has three levels and the third levels has two options (panathenaic and olympic games), similar to monuments (monument basment and following four options...) i guess...

    EDIT2: for some reason the game stopped showing any bigger tga pictures for detailed building description, however, the small icons are ok...

    And last thing... instead of line: Athletic buildings or whatever it says something completely different, like free thread 12 or something, didnt find in which txt file i could change this to refine my new building tree to perfection...

    If the text descriptions of your buildings aren't showing right, then there's something wrong in 'export_buildings.txt'. Best way to find out what is just compare what you did to another building that's already in there.

    As for the building card not working, they have to be the same size as the other building cards, and 24bit tga files to work. Otherwise the game 'may' or 'may not' be able to use them randomly.
