What do YOU want from an Obama Presidency?

As the polls now show an ever lengthening lead between Obama and McCain, the likelihood is that come innaugeration day Obama will be sworn in. What do you hope will be some of his first actions upon taking office?

Besides the obvious need to focus on the economy, these are the things I am looking for....

1. The sun still came up on innaugeration day, the day a black man was sworn in as leader of America. The remaining racism in America began to heal and America was much stronger because of it.

2. The war leaders in Iraq were given orders to finish their jobs in a short period of time, and leave a war that should never have been started. With the resources and manpower saved, the emphasis shifts to Afghanistan, and the SUCCESSFUL capture of bin Laden.

3. Rogue nations came to realize that remaining confrontational with the US and the West was counterproductive for their own well being moving forward.
This realization began as direct talks with Iran and N Korea begin.

What are some things you see in an Obama Presidency?

I'd be cool with that... but only under certain condtions. No relgious fundamentalism and dogmatism. Education should be a number one priority on the list. Not praying to to god or allah who anyone else. Education and intelligent thought has made our lives better, not allah. Conservatives do offer change. Look at Ronald Reagan--didn't he change things? Look at Teddy Roosevelt, Winston Churchill, Margaret Thatcher, Abraham Lincoln. Those were all conservatives--and they brought change.

Liberals don't bring change. They support a millennia-old ideology based on victimization, big government, and redistribution of wealth. That's not change--it's the same old failed policies that have killed all the great civilizations.

We might not be at war w Muslim extremists, if not for our support for Israel. The more I learn about conditions in Gaza and West Bank, the more I see why people are willing to kill themselves in suicide attacks. Desperate people display their frustration in desperate acts.
