    Need a few more details.

Which building(s) are you talking about? The printing press and printing house?

Do you not have access to these buildings, or do they simply not convert a settlement to royalists?

    Cheers

If I build a building with conversion bonus, conversion is ever royalist. I can't convert to parliament.

    For example :
    I play Parliament
    I capture Winchester early 1642 (40% parliament / 60% royalist)
I build an office of conscription (with 4% conversion bonus)
Late 1643 Winchester become 19% parliament

    I think I don't understand something...

The office of conscription is a building that represents forced conscription. It is not a nice sight for the people living in that settlement.

Forcing fathers, husands and sons into war would of created resentment among the civilian population. Therefore, by making that building you will push the population towards supporting the enemy.

That 4% 'conversion bonus' is awarded to the enemy faction.

I would suggest building it while there is a need fo extra troops in that area. Once the war has passed onto other areas, destroy it.

    I hope that makes sense.

    Cheers

AD sorry to issue a raindrop on the parade, but: does the AI destroy buildings successfully?

Is this possible to add conversion character skill ?
For example, characters like Cromwell or King Charles are charismatic leader so may be their presence in a city could convert population. It is just an idea...

Ah so the AI definitely destroys opposing religion buildings? That at least is good for I've heard that it typically leaves buildings alone without demolishing them.

The game automatically destroys conversion buildings of the opposite type for you.

Oh that's something the script does, right.

No it's part of MED2's code.

Hrmm, then I was thinking of the Teutonic script where Lithuanian religious buildings are automatically destroyed on capture. Good to know for the Med2 code.
