Is it a major improvement over 1.0 install, I havn't tried it yet. I know the charge works, but I don't use cav alot, im more of an infantry person, but does 1.2 make a big diffrence overall in game play over 1.0?

Judging by all the howls of pain from the user community when the original game came out, I would say, "Yes." I do not know personally, because I refused to buy the game until the 1.2 patch came out.Originally Posted by candle_86
The list of fixes is huge, and affects campaign play, as well as fixing a multitude of minor to major battle bugs, most of them involving infantry.
Make sure you get the RIGHT 1.2 patch (right country, boxed versus STEAM, etc.)
I got the english patch 1.2 for my game, but now i get an unspecified error. gonna try the compatability 1.3 patch to see if i can get my game working again. I don't wanna loose my scottish campaign
I too got that "unspecified error". The only way I could fix it was to completely reinstall the game. But i guess you could perhaps backup your campaign from the saves folder and then put it back in there after you have reinstalled the game (I can't guarantee that it works bc I haven't tried it myself).
oh men...just patch your game to 1.3, then buy kingdoms and patch to 1.5...then put on a decent mod and you'll really start to taste the real mtw game!!!
If you don't want to, so at least patch it to 1.3
