Mongols not invading?

If this is the wrong place or anything feel free to link me to another thread and delete this.

I'm playing the soljanki rajputs and I'm in 1238 and the mongols still haven't invaded. My friend who has BC as well said that they should have invaded in the 1220's.

Any help is appreciated.

Or can someone just tell me what year the mongols invaded in their game at least?

I think the problem are the Soljanki's, because a long time ago I played with the and it was somewhere in 1240 and they still weren't there. But when I played with the Omanis they arrived in 1222 I think and in 1220 they arrived in my Ayyubid campaign. So I think the problem is the faction but I'm not sure.
