The issue of marriage and premarital sex

Personally, I voted for option 1 which is :I believe in marraige and also believe that premarital sex is wrong.
You probably gonna all laugh at me now, but yes, I do what I preach, and I'm proud to say that I still never had sex despite of the temptation (and yeah its been really hard especially recently)

And the reason for my choice is this:
1- first of all, its a religeous reason.
2- I live in a society where, if an unmarried girl is not a virgin, then she is branded as a whore and most probably nobody will ever marry her.
So the thing is, I know that I love my girlfriend so much and there is no way I'm gonna ever leave her (same for her), and I'm also certain that one day we will get married, but the thing is, I'm afraid of this senario (we have sex before marraige, and then I die. So technically she will be branded as a whore which will mess up her life, and it will be my fault even if not intentionaly.And needless to say, the last thing I want to do is to hurt the girl I love.)
so untill marriage its celibacy for me

Sex is really a pleasant thing, but I confess that I personally think that premarital sex is wrong. I am often (very often) incoherent with my own conviction, yet it keeps returning to me as my own fault, and not a limit of the idea in itself.

Well like you Roman_Wolf am the same way in not haveing sex before marraige. Now that dosent mean that I wont even though I shouldnt but it more like a need now and yes it hard but from those who waited have said it was worth it. The same can be said the other way around as well, I think it should wait unitl marriage but at the same time if you need it then do it for it but thats just me now I would do it with someone who I knew and love dearly rather than some stranger.

Frankly, I wouldn't marry somebody who I hadn't had sex with.

Not only do you learn a hell of a lot about a person when you get naked that you otherwise wouldn't (thereby informing you whether or not a marriage is viable) but as it was bluntly put on a recent programme I saw;

What if you're seeing someone for three plus years, don't sleep with them, then marry them and it turns out they're are really bad in bed?

Generally speaking virgins are to be avoided because they don't know what they're doing.

I think its' really bizarre for virgins to believe that they are in any position to understand sex, and to follow the teachings of religious organisations whose members are celibate (leading, as we all know, to much sexual deviancy).

Its' like asking somebody who has never driven how to drive a car. It just doesn't make sense.

I can see why in some cultures (arent you Lebanese Roman Wolf?) it might make life very difficult for someone to not be a virgin when they get married.

But I have no problem with it, none what so ever. I think its just another example of parts of the world shaking off some of the archaic "morals" that we should've ditched a while back.

If you're in [real] love and seriously think it is certain you will get married, I don't personally see a problem...[I wouldn't worry too much about the whole you dying thing, believe me... it is unlikely].

As for me I believe in the traditional marriage and family thing...but only for my self others are free to do whatever they wish, although I do not know what the future holds for me I could change my view regarding the circumstance.
