    Icon5 Producing an heir

So I'm messing around with RTW and want to try to play a game where the faction leader position is passed down father to eldest son starting from the original faction leader. And now I am stuck...So I was wondering is there any way to make my faction leader produce a son without having to load and reload the game? The guy has been married for some time now, is 30 years old, and has the freaking Prolific Trait yet he still can't make a kid. Any suggestions?

Get him the "Doctor" ancillary or another one?

    Wait another 10 turns?

    Cheat?

Don't move him around, put him in a city and just let him stay there until he produces some sons. Moving him around will decrease the chances of him having a child.

Well, too bad there wasn't an ancient Viagra for him to use.

You can add Doctor+Herbalist+Priest(with fert bonus)and Physician(if allowable mix?). Depends on faction types...it helps.

You can't have a physician and doctor ancillary in the same character, IIRC.

Even if he makes a child it may not be male, even if he makes a son, he may not be qualified enough to be an heir. I'd suggest you to take the youngest and best family member, and start him gaining good stats. Send him to easy battles, put him in largest city with upgraded academy etc.
That'll guarentee a chance of having a better heir.

Keep the faction leader in your capital, with acadamy, pantheon temples etc. Leave them for several decades. In theory you should generate several mediocre children, if not then good children. Get them married off quickly and hope you dont get the infertile trait...

Take a man and a woman, put them in a room, see what happens. Though the game doesn't really offer any info on that.
