    Default Difficulty setting's help?

Hi, could someone be so kind as to tell me how to view the difficulty setting I have on my campaign game.

This is the first time ive come back to my game for a few months and want to find out if I have it on the hard settings.

    Any help, much appreciated.

I'm not too sure, though if you don't know the difficulty level it shouldn't bother you too much. Just want to say that difficulty determines AI playing ability, and not the amount of bonuses they get and to what extent.

    Thanks for the quick reply.

I am not bothered about any bonus.I wanted to make sure I have it on the hardest setting because I am Scotland and wanted to keep it realistic..The campaign has gone a little strange (Kingdoms) in that I spent alot of time defeating the Norweigans.I am now in the 1400's and England are week, they only have six provinces left..Wales are the strongest faction(or level with me) which also seems a little unrealistic.

Is there nothing in the Config folder that tells the difficulty settings?
    Regards

I don't think so. I've checked my save and it was full of nonsense (as in, just garbage, not just complex script) and i've checked the medieval2.preference.cfg. Nothing. Of course, I suppose you could start another Britannia campaign. Then you can be confident of the difficulty level.
