Default Your own plots: do you think them out?

I like to think out my own plot. So, the 7 assassins I sent to Europe were the "The Ghost Hand". They were numbered by spanish numbers (though I am not spanish, just like the language). So, the situation in short: after a 100 years secret rule, the Ghost Hand's plans were exposed by some clever HRE prince, right after his father's "accident" death. Cuatro and Seis were killed, Sero died of an old age. Formally, the Ghost Hand was disbanded. But survived members didn't want to give up so easily...

XIII century. Europe enters Crusade age. The pope declares a Holy War on Jerusalem. The Ghost Hand's shadow is darkening the Europe one again. New Sero made a decision of breaking the crusade by eliminating catholic leaders. Thousands of crusaders. One target. War continues on...

    I do the same thing.
I thought about writing something clever, but then I remembered I'm not clever enough.

I do this most of the time. Like in my England Campaign when I created a massive army to destroy all of Ireland in only a few turns with my King leading the attack on Galway, my Faction heir leading the attack on Cork, and my 'to be' faction heir (which, if I was able to choose my Faction heir, would've been him) to attack dublin. Then I recieved information on my outerborders of France, that they are raising an army, and have been seen within our borders. Then theres a feud between Faction Heir and the Older Brother who should've been it. Then when the King dies he tells the Older brother he should've choosen him and so fourth like that.

It makes the game more fun for me.

I dont make plots per se, but i do hae aims. Im playing russia at the mo, and my aim is to cease the baltic coast and northern baltics. Move south with my eastern army while taking out Denmark, Scotland and England with Western army, then move south again.

I have a tendency to have armies that work together, like for instance in the HRE I would have an all gothic knight army or armored sergeants and pavise x-bows

usually after something happens (ally betrayal or major conquest) i'll think of a story line or a background story. then, i kind of lay out a plotline between rivaling factions in my head, like different families fighting for power. it' QUITE the party inside my head...either that or i'm insane
