Hoy Key Glitch

When i press a few hotkeys during battles and even on the main map view, i always get this glitch where it (in battle mode) will make the time speed up to x3, turn my sound off, and display some weird page of hotkeys i believe i was
or
(during the main map mode) will go back to my last saved game, turn my sound off, and the hotkey page

this is very frustrating, i reinstalled, heck, i got a new computer and it is still doing it

please help, i cant play the game since even control and shift dont work without screwing up

do you have to use hotkeys? ive been playing total war games for years and have never used hotkeys...

Well, maybe you are just misclicking. The hotkeys are F1 and so on as far as I know.

Yeah, i kinda have to use hotkeys
like even when you hold shift and control to select units it does it

I think this use to happen to me, and I'm pretty sure it was when I was accidentally hitting the pause button to the right of scroll lock. Either that or another button around there. Still happens sometimes I think...
