Need help and fast

I'm having problems with my MTW2 it's just shutting down every time i trie to end a round

, and i was just wondering to try just reinstall but i don't want to delete the save im playing does any one know where i can find the save file

Im using Vista x64bit

Maybe that is your problem, my cousin had the same problem but I don't know how he fixed it but if I were you I would look for a patch for Vista.

If it;s not Vista the problem maybe you could post your specs. I will try to help

I also had similar problem, but with Kingdoms. Just reinstall.

know where i can find the save file

In "data" folder (I'm not sure).

Processor - Intel Core2duo E8400@3.00GHz

System type - Windows vista Ultimate 64 bit

I know that Vista ad problems for running games and that Microsoft add a patch for it so maybe you should try that or by kingdoms like the other guy said

im just gona reinstall i have kingdoms but i don't want to lose the save game

You don't lose any savegames just because you install Kingdoms. You can still play the vanilla campaign.

Exactly , or to be sure save your game data in another folder then when reinstalled just copy your saved game file back where it should go.

But the thing is i can't find the save file !! i done it million times with Rome total war but now i just can't find them

It's bean awhile since I've done this but you need to do it like in Rome go into the M2TW folder and look in thoses files I'm sure there is one called (Save) it's in there.

Huh... Vanilla means the original game out of the box

The save files for vista are here
C:\Users\Usuario\AppData\Local\VirtualStore\Program Files\SEGA\Medieval II Total War\saves
If your looking for a kingdoms save it should be where it says mod like this
C:\Program Files\SEGA\Medieval II Total War\mods\americas\saves

or mods\teutonic or mods\brittania or \mods\crusaders
