Referencing 300 to a mod that prides itself on historical accuracy is perhaps not the best idea in the world...

I can't say all the stuff in 300 is ahistorical.

The Hoplitai in our mod hold the spear overarm, whereas the hoplitai in the picture you've shown hold them underarm, so no they won't be using the attack formation as you see in 300 and that mod.
