Mid-campaign change question
Hey, this is my first post (been lurking for a while)
So I have searched the forums and google, and I have not found the answer to this question: what happens if you change the timescale in the middle of a campaign? I started a campaign with turns set to 6 months and it is just too slow. I'd like to bump it up to a year/turn, but I do not know what will happen. Will it just double the years? Will a ton of events happen the next time I hit "end turn"? Or will nothing happen at all?
Has anyone done this?
Sorry if this question has been asked before, I searched the forum and checked the FAQ (honest!)

Re: Mid-campaign change question
If you change the timescale after you started a game it will not have any effect on the game you started before you changed the Timescale.
You will need to start a new game for it to take effect.

Re: Mid-campaign change question
There are many changes which will not take effect mid-game. This is definitely one of them.

Well darn. Thanks for the info, maybe I will look around and find a way to move up some the events (gunpowder/mongols etc).

Re: Mid-campaign change question
you can move them up, but will also only work in a new campaign.
