every time i click to fight the game instantly quit and sent me back at the desktop...what really happened? it's boring for me to fight the enemy using only auto-battle

Im not the only one then, on one of mine it does that so all i can do is auto resolve on bi. It might be something to do with your computer but im not too sure.

yeah but i can watch the battle in demo version that is battle of trebia...why not full version? sombody?

What version of Rome are you playing? 1.0? Patched to 1.5? BI installed? Patched to 1.6? Some got fixed with patches, some didn't. Have you put the -show_err switch in the command line of your shortcut? It gives a clue most of the time. Are you playing a mod?

If you put -show_err you may get an error message back which will help diagnose the problem with your install. Without the switch it's anyone's guess.

You've not posted any detail of your PC spec or the settings you were playing at. How do you expect anyone to be able to help you?
