Unless we can solve the naval invasion issues for the Britons, I'd rather they went back to being rebels like in RTR and use the slot for the Cisalpine Gauls.

Seriously though, the Britons do nothing more than an ordinary rebel faction. Use the ciscapline gauls in a good way to prevent the romans from taking out that whole area of eaurope, rather than just conquering northern italy.

Cisalpine Gauls is a good idea, but I still like the idea of playing as Britain and making an island fortress. Then I could launch naval invasions and be quite a pain for whoever controls mainland Europe. So I voted for the British Gauls. However, since I haven't actually played as them yet, if they were removed then I wouldn't mind to much.

I mentioned this to my wife, who said that Indomitable Gauls might be a bit unbalancing. After all, they did stop a Gothic invasion as well as single-handedly start and win the Battle of Thapsus.

if you remove britons and use their slot for cisalpine gaul can other gauls and cisalpine gaul fight between?

Actually that`s harder to avoid than cause. So, yeah, eventually they would fight against one another.

I think the that Britons were divided to several smaller tribes and nobody even fights in Britain, so I don't think they are really necessary. Cisalpine Gauls would be much better. It would make playing as Romans more exiting.
