i mean i thought this was ment to be like the movie.. but i was wrong.. anyway is there a uninstall icon so i can uninstal it, no hard feelings i just dont like the mods timeframe

I think "The Fourth Age" in the title might have given a clue as to what you were downloading...(not to mention all the write ups, info, screenshots, etc. etc....)

It's easy to uninstall just delete the "ci" folder which will be in your RTW directory's "bi" folder.

Have you tried Lord of the Rings:Total War? That is based on the movies. It's listed in the TWC wiki or just do a search for "lotrtw"

As a new user, I can see how irrated the programmers of this mod must get with this kind of post. All of the notes, outlines & highlight bits tell you exactly what the mod is. I've seen the fims too but this is something new, orginal, creative etc etc.

I really don't feel like us newbies can come in here & start annoucing that we are installing it....

I hope I don't sound sound too hard & if he's a troll, then mission accomplished - I just think it's such an insult to the folks who have obviously put so much work into get the map sorted, created the factions, changing all the graphics etc etc etc...

The Fourth Age is a far more suited period of time then the movies. The movies would be hard to illustrate - as its impossible (at least, I think) to mod in a fellowship, Mordor would dominate -HARD-. One thing could be optional events, if Mordor didn't achieve certain things in a certain time, the ring would get so far, etc. but it would be very buggy.

The Fourth Age provides a more strategic like war placement, and it looks fun. I'm downloading it now. Thanks for giving us this awesome looking mod, dudes!
