what are SS and vanila ??

Hi, I'm new here in the forum, and I found a lot of people say that they play medieval vanila or SS, please can some one tell me what are those things? and how do I know if I play vanila or SS.

Medieval Vanilla means an unmodded game. SS is a mod called Stainless Steel probably the most popular mod for M2TW even though I got bored with it months ago and am currently waiting for 7.0.

after your experience do you think it worth it to instak the SS patch

PS : I already installed the 1.3 patch

Play Stainless Steel after you get bored of vanilla M2TW and Kingdoms. The retrofit mod is also nice if you prefer the original world map. They'll be like a breath of fresh air.

Then yes it would be a good idea to download the 6.0 version of Stainless Steel and if you like it after trying it update it to 6.1.

I spent months in twcenter before know that vanilla mean unmodded game((may two

months ago)) >>I know that vanilla is in ice cream (:

another twcenter word you should know ctd ((crash to desktop))>>also this made a little

confused to me

note that installing stainless steal will mod the main game folder

c\:program files\Sega\Medieval Total War II\data

although most mods here don`t mod it

so, be careful >>> uninstall all game when uninstall SS or make a backup

for the files that SS change or add it

Each mod has it's own subsection in those areas. There you'll find most of the major modification projects for this game and places to ask questions or read up on what each mod provides in terms of game play enhancement and such.
