    Default I love Heraldry but...

have you thought about giving some kind of bonus for the 'minor' heraldry ancillaries?
At the moment I completely ignore them (not the 'big wig' ones) because of the fact that they look pretty but do not give any benefit.
How about small tax collection benefit, order benefit or something like that?

We're working on the ancillaries and traits at the moment. I think with the new version we can take a huge step towards BRs and Bruces goal/dream.

That would be nice, I love the RPG part of it - loved it since RTW (Rome Total Realism mod)

Ewen's right about the traits and ancillaries. I stripped out all the bonuses for Earls because I wasn't happy with how I originally had them implemented. They are simply eye-candy currently

When I looked at titles such as giving Loyalty to someone you reward with a title, I was more worried about what negative impact such as less chance of a rebelling General, than I was about the positive impact of having a loyal General.

I have now flip-flopped on this and believe loyalty should be added...because let's face it not all your Generals can be Earls. I'm leaving this up to Ewen to re-implement, along with his new ancillaries.

Let me know if you waould like some input from me.

By the way: seems Durham has a phantom port. Green trade lines go to a point at the coast of that region but there is no port. Will see that I make a screenie for you.

Its the hidden port of Hartlepool.

If you had ever been to Hartlepool you would know that hiding it is quite a good idea.
