How can I enter into my cities?

Hi,

I would like to know if in mediaval there is the possibility like in "Rome total war" to enter to my cities and wacth them:
To See the buildings I had build and the citizens.

How I'm doing it?

In m2tw it is unfortunately not possible to watch your cities as you could in RTW.

No you can't do this in M2TW

there are ways to do so, but I forgot how.

there was a mod that allowed you to initiate a battle without enemy, strawling through your city...

though I really dont know where this mod ended up. but it might be a hint for you if you know some modding basics...

Nop, cant do that in M2TW. And there is no mod that I know of that gives you the chance to do it.

No there is. I've read the page, but unfortunately I didn't bookmark it . I think it was because the download link was dead. This was a really old page after all.

Imagine TW game where you can enter your own and enemy cities as a FPS character. That would be so cool. You go and explore, see all the good and bad things.

uh uh, its really exciting to walk in the same generic cities over and over watching -again- generic npc's walking into random directions without any reason all the time.

That could be a nice feature but you need a reason, like here is what I suggest.... Why have assassination video's as we could try to kill a king ourselves in the FPS mode as an assassin.

That would probably be cool, that way it wouldn't be a % that would decide but you playing it. ( Assassins Creed anyone)

in rome total war there was an option where you could view one of your settlements on the battle map without actually fighting. you would see how far your town has developed and see all the citizens wandering around. was rather interesting actually

It was actually beautiful feature and I used it all the time. Especially when in the middle east or Africa. Or in Rome or one of those big cities.

Its a beautiful idea, so we don't make it to be FPS or like AC, its still going to stay bread and butter RTS Total War game but its gonna have that nice touch. I would love it if we are somehow able to do that.
