Cant enter India in Alexander Total war

How come my troop cant enter in the India region in alexander total war? also there is city in there called talixa or something and i cant get to it.

Oh sorry guys, no i got cross the mountain from a boat, and i was on the very let side of small moveable are of land, and there is like river, and i tried to cross but the cursor turned to the x sign saying i cant get cross and wont build a path for me no matter what ways i go.

You can't go into India in the single-player campaign. There is no Indian army there. You fight Persia - that's it. The Indian force is only for multiplayer and the Historical Battle of the Hydaspes.

I wasted time trying to do exactly the same thing you did.

OMG .. really ? I heard ATW was not a great expension, but now I understand why ppl say that ...

You can't say it's not a good expansion just cos there's part of a map you can't get to.

India was a MAJOR part of Alexander Campaign .. its like playing RTW without being able to conquer Carthage. My opinion anyways

happened to me also. but still alexander was a great expansion pack. i just loved beating persia over and over again. and over and over and over ... you get the picture. it was a dream come true

trust me, you'll be missing on hell of a treat. the historical battles are the greatest aspect of alexander expansion pack.

Yes, there is, if you play them multiplayer with someone online. All the historical battles are available in 1v1, 2v1 or 2v2 modes.

You can only play as Macedon in the Alex expansion. You can't unlock the other factions, I don't think...

Normally you have to finish the campaign to play all the historical battles, but you might be able to mess with the data files.

actually tbh, i found the first historical battle the hardest. so it should get better.

I have to say that the makers dropped the ball on this one
Can't attack India although it is on the campaign map and have to finish the campaign before you can play the Historical battles

I used the historical battles as a form of campaign, in that you have to complete each one to reach the next.
