    Default Questions about Loyalty

I'm trying to force a character to rebel, so I gave hime a trait which gives -30 loyalty. However, it still took 6 turns for him to rebel, far too long. Will decreasing loyalty even more speed up this process? Is there a max/min limit to attribute values? (Have I already crossed it?)

    Default Re: Questions about Loyalty

I'm pretty sure the loyalty caps at -10, just like +10. It's nigh impossible to otherwise determine, because Loyalty is such a random implement. It seems like though, that the -10/+10 is the accepted range of used main attributes. It would probably read ad infinitum though of course, so if you had one add -50 and another trait +10, it would seemingly equate to -40, and level out to be -10. There are some instances though that it won't read past the "soft limit" and so -50 and +10 would be 0, because CA likes to be confusing.

The lack of rebellion capability and handing small areas to other factions is indeed one of the key failing points of scripting to address. It would be curious if there's an xml file or another file somewhere that does the "testing a character's loyalty", because obviously something is telling them to rebel if X(random factor) and Y(loyalty) are true, but that something isn't readily available to be edited.

    Cheers,
