I feel that the darker/brownish colour fits the general feel of the Greek culture much more than others.
So yeah, sorry, but I won't change the colours... too much work!

Hospitallers Kane, you seem to dislike many things about the mod: texture, units, colour

But, with all this you seem to be interested. Just give it a good try (play a few factions) and ignore little things for now. I do not think you'll be disappointed.

About colours ... I think units in many mods receive too much colour. I like the darker and rugged look of units in XGMD. It's more realistic

i have only done a minimod for mount and blade that i never released but
I LOVE THIS MOD

please no offence was meant
jus would like to see some more varied hoplites

although no editiing any of them because i do really like them

btw this is my mod of choice

Varied hoplites are good. XGM Members, don't be insulted. He just has the desire to make his game more fun for himself, through changing things. I myself do this...

By the way, I was thinking of swapping the Seleucid Silver Shield model from the one in XGMD to one in SPQR. How would I do that, pray tell?

EDIT: Personal preference, by the way. I prefer the Thracian helmet that covers the cheek. Looks very threatening.

Well as for me I like the way they look it feels like am actually fighting in those times. It was a good choice of colors but I always like to see how they would look if the colors where changed but it isnt my mod so I have no say but respect the modders by keeping the way it was so possed to be. None the less it never hurts to ask
