Install problem

Hey, got a problem when im installing the mod.
I got m2tw patched to 1.3 and im extracting the files to the main directory, but i dont get any shortcut wich the readme says i should have on my desktop and no way to start the mod.
Anyone know any solution to this problem? please reply , thanks!

It will be in your Medieval II: Total War directory. It may not have the icon image attached properly, but it should be there.

If not, right-click-drag the for_king_or_country.bat to the desktop and say "Create shortcuts here". Then all you need to do is tell the shortcut where the icon picture is - which is also in the Medieval 2: Total War directory (its called fkoc_icon.ico)

I also have the same problem? could you please explain a bit better? im not that good with computers. How do you "say create shortcuts here"? i tried moving it to desktop and clicking on it and a little black box comes up quickly then dissapears.... tried making a shortcut and it does the same thing.

Drag that shortcut to your desktop.

If you wish to give it the proper icon:
1.Right click it
2. Click 'properties'
3. Click 'change icon'
4. Click 'browse'
5. Direct it to the icon in the Medieval II Total War folder (fkoc_icon.ico)
