    Hello which are the files changed to change the name of faction.
    Example: Removed macedon and replaced by the kingdom of the Empire

    And how removed a faction??? :8

    moved it to the workshop, maybe you can get more answers here. I know, that removing a faction is a lot of deleting and messy.
    Actually i would like to know this also, i wonder if changing the name of a faction requires a lot of files to be changed, or if there is any, that will only change the name of the faction to be displayed differently, but still using the same faction under different name.

    anybody knows which file to edit? :blink

    There are a number of files to edit to get the full effect... Go to yuor text folder, inside the Data folder, and do searches for the faction name you want to change in these files: "expanded.txt," "shared.txt," and "strat.txt." Also, you can change the name and description that shows up in the selection menu in the "campaign descriptions.txt" file. I believe that's it. Edit only the faction names that are OUTSIDE of the curly brackets.

    Example: {ST_MACEDON} Only edit here.

    You can't add a new facvtion, you can only simply re-name and edit an existing one.

    and the expor_units.txt in the same folder, if you want to change the name of your units. *tongue*

    export_buildings.txt ... that whole folder basically contains all of the front end text, or the text that you, the user, sees.

    Thank you, if I remove a faction I would have to also removed his own units him which are in export_units.txt ????

    No. To remove a faction from the game, you simply edit the descr_strat.txt in your Data/world/maps/campaigns/imperial_campaign folder. Edit the faction's name out of the top, and then do a search for the faction name, and edit this part out: faction faction_name_here, comfortable caesar
    denari 5000

    Then, you'll have to give the provinces below that to other factions. You'll also have to erase all of that factions starting units, and family members, which are all directly below the provinces.

    Thank you, I hold has to remove 14 or 16 factions and from famous the 4 or 6 others. Is it feasible. :8

    I'm not exactly sure what you mean... You'll have to use existing factions, but rename them, add new units, etc. You can take as many out of the game as you want.

    Yeah, just one for renaming factions. I think it would help save some newbs (Like me) some time. But it's just a suggestion. No pressure...really...

    In the tutorial it should explain how to re-elect them with some and similar for removed
