    Default Starting a new campaign.

So I've been experiencing alot lately that I've started a campaign, then read some cool trick on these forums that'll make me want to start over to get that in the game. But this is the last time, I want a flawless, complete campaign start. So far I've reskinned most of Venice's (the faction I will play) units, added some useful cannons like the Grand Bombard, gave them some Crossbowmen from my dear neighbor Milan, deleted pirates from the game, fixing so that you'll travel the same speed with siege machines as you would without them. So now I'm wondering, is there anything else that might be useful that I can change before I begin? Can be anything, small fixes to great improvements.

    Thanks.

As long as you don't anything in the data\world sub folders, changes will be save game compatible.

I thought it was only export files that are save compatible. Are descr files as long as they're not in data/world also save compatible?

Don't remove things. Add things, but don't remove them. What traits and such current generals have is only in the .sav file, not anywhere else. If they look for a trait that is not there, your game will crash. So add things as you please in conservative amounts, but don't remove much of anything.
