Default Whatt does raising campaign difficulty REALLY do???

Well then,It has been established that the higher the difficulty on the field the bigger the impact had by morale vs the player, and perhaps a few othe factors. But I am curious as to the impact that is actually had by implementing a higher campaign difficulty??what should one expect as you raise the bar closer to Very Hard???Anyone familiar with what is actually effected???

Well battle difficulty probally raises how they use thier units for example not sending calvary into spears and for the other one PROBALLY HOW THEY BUILD THey build, where they go to, making sure they have enough troops to take a settlement. not to sure on all this just a good guess

Thanks for the feedback.Been playing this game for some time now and never really stopped to consider the difference that was offered up on the varying difficulty levels.

Battle difficulty - AI uses its troops more wisely, doesn't charge cavalry into stakes, flanks you, goes around you to get at your archers etc. Unlike RTW the AI doesn't get morale and stamina bonuses.

Campaign difficulty - AI gets a bigger king's purse bonus, uses larger armies, is more hostile towards you, harder to get alliances and ceasefires, etc. Rebels, heretics and witches spawn more often, generals and captains are more prone to betray you, and possibly towns are more rebellious. If I recall correctly, on Easy your relations always normalize towards Good, on Medium they normalize towards So-So, on Hard they normalize towards Poor and on Very Hard they normalize towards Very Poor.
