    family guy isn't that much funny. The Simpsons is way much better. and Homer is the funniest ever.

    If you love their type of stupid funny like I do. It's hard to mess up. But since the creators are 40ish you have to be familar with old TV to get most of their Jabs{witty/sarcasm bits}

    I love the Family Guy humour. I liked Simpsons better when I was younger, but then I grew up and realized what sex was, and therefore Family Guy became the number 1.
    August Strindberg: "There's a view, current at the moment even among quite sensible people, that women, that secondary form of humanity (second to men, the lords and shapers of human civilisation) should in some way become equal with men, or could so be; this is leading to a struggle which is both bizarre and doomed. It's bizarre because a secondary form, by the laws of science, is always going to be a secondary form. Imagine two people, A (a man) and B (a woman). They start to run a race from the same point, C. A (the man) has a speed of, let's say, 100; B (the woman) has a speed of 60. Now, the question is 'Can B ever overtake A?" and the answer is 'Never!'. Whatever training, encouragement or self-denial is applied, the proposition is as impossible as that two parallel lines should ever meet."

    I thought that was okay. Funny, but not really Peter-on-Ecstasy funny.

    You don't find it funny?

    Family Guy and The Simpsons have their moments too. American Dad just has better moments.

    But if we're getting on to the topic of funniest shows, I'd say Flight of the Conchords takes the prize.

    Family Guy, meh. I liked some of the first 3 seasons (Before it was initially cancelled), and I have grown to like it less and less ever since, to the point now where I never watch it and quite frankly think it's somewhat obnoxious. The shows that it parodies are much funnier. My opinion of the show pretty much mirrors that of Cartman in the South Park "Cartoon Wars" two-parter.

    Admittedly there are some funny segments in there, though.

    Family Guy and The Simpsons have both been on for over a decade. They're running out of original ideas, and what little new ideas they do have are usually .

    Don't get me wrong; I watched the Simpsons when I was, like, six. It went downhill shortly thereafter, though.

    Family Guy is not yet a decade old (nevermind having been cancelled and revived during that time) and The Simpsons are very close to 2 decades. You might wanna work on your generalizations there.

    I just watched the new episode, I thought it was more or less up to standard. The funniest part for me was the guy behind the counter in the cake shop. "piss of pee" I liked that.
