CTD during campaign load

Sorry for the length of this.

Whenever I try to start a new campaign, it loads about 1/4 of the way and then CTDs. Now, I'm guessing that it has something to do with the campaign. I just recently added some units, Spartans specifically, and I'm trying to make the Brutii a Spartan faction. The campaign worked fine and now all of a sudden it doesn't. I didn't mod any aspects of the campaign, so I have no idea what the problem is. I got rid of all the map.rwm files, ran the batch and checked manually. Anybody have any ideas? Thanks in advance.

What files did you edit? There may be one file you have overlooked. Also, i remember that there is a specific limit on how many troop types the game can handle. RTR will use most, if not all of these.
Anyway, you might have more luck in the modding forum, it's made for this stuff
