Icon4 Questions about RS and EB

    Hello,

I have a few questions. At first I would like to know which mod is more autentic, roma surrectum or europa barbarorum?

Next to that I have also installed RTR + RTW at the D-disc. Could I install for example RS at the C-disc and EB at the E-disc? Of course with a copy of RTW without a mod

At least: where can I download the niewest version of EB or RS?

    Thanks

Firstly, you'll need to define "authentic".

The latest edition of EB can be found here: http://www.twcenter.net/forums/showthread.php?t=157181
The latest edition of RS can be foudn here: http://www.twcenter.net/forums/showthread.php?t=65725 (remember to patch to 1.5b)

And yes, you should be able to install them like that. But which RTR do you have?

    Yeah, Thanks for the links.

With authentic I mean that the soldiers are the same as in the ancient times. When they are more the same, they are also more authentic of course. I have the golden edition of RTW.

EB is more realistic that RS1.5 - the Roma Surrectum team states that version is not historical.

The next version of Roma Surrectum (2.0) will be more realistic.

With your install question. You only need to install RTW once. You should keep the original folder 'clean' and don't apply any mods to it. Simply copy it to another folder (e.g. RTW RS1.5) and then apply the mod to it (the copy folder).

Yeah, EB is more realistic than RS, though IMO, RS's skins make it look awesome.

    Yes they are.

One question: I was choising my units for the roman army in the custom battle yesterday, but I cant find the hastati, pricipes, triarii etc. When I play a historical battle then I can see that they exist. But why is it not possible to choise them when you want to do a custom battle?

Which game are you referring to? You should raise a bug report in either the EB or RS thread rather than go off topic.
