    Default 3.3.4 is out!

    Check the downloads thread.

Here's the changelog (which is not quite right in the download, since the last two items aren't on it):

This version features a number of bugfixes (see below), new art from Bladerunner900 and King Louise Asshurbannipal, and a great deal of assistance from new team member Jamey.

    -Q.I. and the ExRM team

    Bugfixes/changes:
Changed Sveaby boundaries to avoid (hopefully) AI pathfinding dilemmas
Removed sword hypaspists (after a debate with Wien1938)
    Added new Bactrian spear hypaspist
Reshuffled models and textures for Etruscan and Marsi/Picene units
    Changed geography of Rhodes
    Slight script changes
Fixed one of the temple costs
    Removed several duplicate names
    Redid AP for javelin units
    Changed nature of Greece/Macedonia nerf
Increased German starting town size slightly
Added dharos's temple mod (with Vequor's Parthian temples) (fixed by Jamey)
Added Samnite AoR units to Rome for non-Roman factions
Changed German AoR slightly to give it more personality
Made Tarentine Light Cav recruitable again
Nerfed a couple of rebel cities in Britain to give the Brits a boost
Standardized unit mass, hopefully made it more relevant. (Work done by Caldarium.)
New art for Thessalian Cav cards (by Bladerunner900)
    Fixed Chaeonian Agema skeletons
    Fixed Elis hidden resource
Now more factions can build the siege engineer, e.g. Bactria. (Florin80 caught that.)
Added new models for most of KLA's hoplites with doru instead of sarissas, courtesy of Bladerunner900.
Income reduction nerf to Cyprus (temporary measure pending removal of a territory from Cyprus in the next version)
Rebalanced Roman aux. spearmen (Pannonian reminded me, but I forget who noticed this in the first place)
Redid AI formations with guidance from Aradan. Enemy generals should be slightly less suicidal now.
    Normalized rebel Briton chariot stats
Validated and either fixed or removed all traits (by Jamey)

    Excellent.

I think the fixed priests for Epirus are calling to me. Really long pointy sticks FTW!

Excellent! RTW is now being reinstalled and the downloads have commenced!
Is this compatible with Candel's religion mod?

Is that me? I think so. The version out there is not compatible. I will post a revision for 3.3.4 shortly. I have to finish testing some changes, but should have it out in a day or two.

One other thing that should be in the list is various fixes to the traits. I feel so unloved!

Another much-needed fix you've made that's not on the list is correcting the stats of rebel Brythonic chariots, aka Tiger tanks. They still have bp and launching, but other than that, they're the same as the Briton faction chariots.

    Thanks for the reminder, pannonian.

Jamey: I'm terribly sorry. I distinctly remember putting that into one of the previous versions of this document, but it must have been one that didn't get copied to the main build somehow (the last fortnight has been a little confusing on that front). I just fixed it.

WOW!! I didn't realize 3.3.4 release was so imminent.

I just started a new Galatian campaign, which I'll scrap(although it was quite interesting) and start a new campaign.....maybe Carthage....:hmmm:

    Congratulations Quinn and Team!!

I'm sorry, I didn't take good notes at the beginning. What fixes did you suggest? I'll add your name next to them.

    Thanks for the rep!

He definitely helped us a huge amount on the last version, but I don't remember if he did on this version, too.

All official releases probably will, I'm afraid. We tend to make substantial changes.

    Thanks!

btw, we just put out a quick hotfix for a couple of minor bugs. It's save-game compatible.

I've decided to leave taking another run at Galatia at least until I can get my hands on a beta of the horde faction.

You should be able to copy the existing install to another subdirectory (e.g. ExRM_hotseat) and then install the new update over the old ExRM folder. I tried my 3.3.3 games that way and had no problems.

Don't forget to change your shortcut as well... ie from "-mod:ExRM" to "mod:ExRM_hotseat"

Will play and do my AI faction bet here as well , that way you can see if nerfing the Ptolomies really worked.
