    Default quick question about the special "hero units"

    One thing i noticed with stainless steal its that uses that hero thingie (William Wallace, Lionheart, Saladin) but do every faction gets its hero at any point of the campaign or just a selected number of factions?

    I think its just william wallace for scotland, I have seen no others.

    I remember reading that they were going to put more hero's into the game. Maybe in 7.0 or possibly even 6.2.

    There is a mod with heroes and generals. It's called Barser's Faction Leaders and Generals mod. Here is a link:

    it requires other mods which I dont want, sadly enough.

    What's wrong with SSTC if you want it that badly. Despite saying it, SSTC doesn't require RR to work, despite saying it does, if thats what you're referring to. Worked fine for me without, and i'd never dream of installing RR. Hate anything that limits recruitment.
