Is there anything Bush could do to improve his popularity?
With his Presidency coming to an end in a matter of months, is there anything Bush could do to improve his popularity during this short period of time? Maybe something that the majority of U.S. citizens want . . . in my opinion, the President is supposed to be a representative or figurehead of his people, does Bush even do public opinion polls to find out what Americans want (politically)? Or do you think he's been abusing the office of President for the most part?

Short of that, I can't see him doing anything "realistic" to improve his popularity. Does stepping down early count?

Get out of Iraq fix are broken Economy i can go on and on but those two things i just mentioned is a good place as any to start.Our country is broken and he and his administrations policies are the main catalyst of it.
@OTZ i wouldn't mind the Beer though.

Fix a broken economy, get US out of Iraq, stop hoarding all the oil.
Also if he screwed Palin he'd become pretty popular.

I don't think Bush really cares, because there have been thousands of rulers far worse in history. If I was him, I'd simply think of how bad Hitler, Stalin, Kim Jong-il, Than Shwe, etc. are and simply brush off current disdain. It won't matter once he's gone. Even if your a bad leader, you leave a legacy of remembrance, just like any great leader.100 years down the road, people will remember the name George W. Bush, First God-King of the American Empire!

Just carry on being the country bumpkin! He could probably do with another terrorist attack, which he'll not respond to for a few days; or another city devastated by a hurricane, which he'll not bother visiting; or, of course, he could go and hide in his bunker, when a cloud goes over the White House.

That would make him finish what he started... I think over time people will lose they're hatred and the wars are the most remembered so as long as we win he will have a good legacy in the long run once the initial hatred has worn off.Invade Iraqn and one of the Koreas.

I don't think people don't like him at all. People just don't want him to be president, but otherwise he could have been a good comedian.
