Im interested in buying the game but...

Hello, as you can see im new to this forum but not to the Medieval franchise, ive played the first medieval game and also Rome total war as well, and probably around a year ago i was interested in buying Medieval 2, but something stopped me and still is from buying it. Ive tried the medieval 2 demo and my computer does not seem to be able to run the game smoothly on medium graphics. Ive tested my computer to see if i can run it at www.systemrequirementslab.com, (Can you run it), and my computer passed even the recommended by a bit, so im wondering why the demo runs badly in my computer, yes my computer is up to date with all its drivers. I was planning to buy the gold edition tommorow but now that ive tried the demo again and doesnt run smoothly at all, i dont think i should get it.

Here are my my system Specs
AMD Athlon 64 3000+ 2.0GHz Proccesor
2.0GB
Nvidia 6800XT/GS 256MB

Any suggestions would be appreciated, i really do want to buy the game. Thanks again.

Sometimes the demos can be a little fuzzy. My system specs are:
Nvidia GeForce Go 7600
1.0GB
Intel Core 2 CPU T5500 1.66GHZ x2

I run the game smoothly on very high everything and its a three year old laptop. >_>
You should be able to run the game on at-least medium graphics and huge armies. Maybe delete some files, defrag your computer etc.

You will be fine I have almost the same as you and runs fine. A little hint maybe turn the shadows off, this will help you run the game more smoothly and another thing don't play with huge army
