    Default Is it save compatible

So with Zuma we had many issues to release a stable submod for SS6 Zuma.

I managed to locate the issue file:

    export_descr_character_traits.txt

AS the bug was erratic, link to script, and non fatal ( but still ctd's ), I mean, if I reload the game, I can continue playing at it.
So I cut the traits in two, test one half, if it works, I let it. test the other part, if working keep it, if not cut in two ect...

The problem with traits, is that there are 37000 lines. I managed to isolate the issue between 6000 lines, so I kept 31000 lines for the mod. But I don't like it.

My question is, if I drop the 6000 lines now, let the guy play the mod, and after finding the the issue, I reintroduce them in export_descr_character_traits.txt, will it be savecompatible.
I think so, but hard to find....

Cause I want to solve this issue later, we spend too much time on it.

    Thank you

I think it's save compatible as long as it's not in a descr file.

Changes to the EDCT are save compatible but they really mess up the 'live' characters. Generals could get priest traits, spy's merchant traits etc. Once the new characters start to come through they will have the proper traits for their class.
