Is it really impossible for polar bears to dive into the water and catch fish or at least adapt to that method?

did you ever catch a fish with your hands diving in the open sea?
even though polar bears swim and dive a lot better than humans they're NOT adapted to fishing. They eat large mammals (seals, wales) and their carrion
