Default Help removing "Bad Traits" from game

Hello there, Let me first say this is the most awesome mod ever. This is my first post in here, but i've been reading these forum for quite some time now. I've really enjoyed playing the diffrent factions again with the added emphasis on roleplaying and micromanagement. You've really done a good job.

However, I sometimes feel the campaings are maybe a bit too realistic - I find it very difficult to keep my general and governors loyalty up, and every king i've had has at some point gotten the "Offensive to nobles" trait during their reign. And the problem gets worse, the longer you play and the greater an empire you conquer the harder it gets to keep loyalty up and civil wars usually turn my greedy eyes from putting new provinces to the sword. This may be realistic, but after the first 250-300 turns I start to find it annoying, and it takes the fun away from me

Now, to get to the point of this post:

Is there a way to disable those traits (offensive to nobles and other major loyality decreasing traits) without altering anything else, and how does it work?

    Thanks

    Greetings,

When your faction leader dies, and your heir is promoted are you taking the new leader to the original capital so he can be crowned?

    Hey Morty, thanks for replying

Yea, everytime my faction leader dies im moving my heir towards the capital to get the coronation, however I get the bad traits even moving there (and when you have a lot of ground to cover then it may take a few turns).
And its really difficult to keep my king's authority up so that he wont inspire civil war before he even gets the crown. Any great ideas?

Im playing as Venice now(330 turns), and have a nice little empire from from Venice to Nicaea, and from Athens to Krakow, however loyality always seems to be a problem and moving characters around always takes a while.

If there might be something I might have missed, then ok, but otherwise it would be great to "turn off" those annoying (although realistic) traits. Can somebody help me pls...

Well I don't want to tell you how to specifically nuke the trait (I've never done that and I'd hate to mess up your file) but I'd start by looking at the triggers in the trait file.

That being said here is a list of traits that give +authority

    Trait FathersLegacy 0 - +3
    Trait Seat_of_Power +1
    Trait Disciplinarian level 0 - +1
    Trait VictorVirtue 1 - +3
    Trait BattleScarred 0 - +2
    Trait BattleDread 0 - +2
    Trait BattleChivalry 0 - +2
    Trait StrategyDread 0 - +3
    Trait StrategyChivalry 0 - +3
    Trait FactionKiller +1 - +4
    Trait CommandExperience 0 - +3
    Trait RhetoricSkill 0 - +2
    Trait PoliticsSkill +1 - +2
    Trait Brave 0 - +2
    Trait Energetic 0 - +2
    Trait Rabblerouser 0 - +2
    Trait DeceiverVirtue +1 - +3
    Trait Authoritarian +1 - +2
    Trait Handsome 0 - +1
    Trait Pragmatic +1 - +3
    Trait Prim +1 - +2
    Trait Cultured 0 - +1
    Trait GoodDiplomacy +1 - +4
    Trait TourneyKnight 0 - +2
    Trait HorseRacer 0 - +2

I personally get bored and usually end up restarting a new campaign before I ever get past my 4th king. However I've never had a problem myself with the offensive to nobles trait. Lots of spying/assassination/sabotage + lots of diplomacy/bribery almost always ensures very high strategy dread, deceiver virtue, politics skill, and good diplomacy traits. All my kings are career governors as well.

Note, if you have a "captain" not a named leader perform in a battle/siege whatever, the king will gain the trait of whatever the captain is doing. I.e. I have a captain led army perform a siege and they win. I then have the captain "occupy" instead of sack or terminate. The king will gain the +strategy chivalry trait. The same goes for captives etc.

make sure you build quality roads between yours major cities so armies can move further per turn!
