Default Replacing the senate with a playable faction?

Is there a guide on how to do this around? I did a search but couldn`t find anything relevant. Just a few people asking about it and getting very short answers.

I saw a number of mods have replaced the senate with another faction. Eb has saba instead of the senate I think. And the key to this from what I know is replacing all instances of the internal name(that is romans_senate) from the text files with another name. But, is there anything more to it than that? And:

    1. Does it matter what the replacing internal name is?
    2. Are there any side effects besides the obvious(losing the senate missions and the vanilla roman factions system)? Like a crash a certain year or the victory conditions not working anymore(i.e. meeting the conditions but not gaining victory) or something of this sort?
    3. Would I have to also remove the romans_senate folders from the pak files(like the ones for the ui cards) or would it be enough to add a new one for the new faction?
    4. In strat.txt there is an entry SMT_DEFEATED_BY_ROMANS_SENATE. The problem I see here is that this file is a bit sensitive to removing the entries or changing their order. What will the best approach be for replacing this?

If there isn`t a guide yet and people contribute here we might turn this into a short tutorial for anyone interested. I know a number of people have done this change already, but there might be important things they have learned while doing it and it would be good for the future if others won`t have to lose time to discover the very same things the hard way.

    Afaik:

    1. No
    2. No
    3. Just add new ones
    4. No need to remove it (but even if you do it won't crash), the message will never be triggered anyway.

    See HERE.
