Default How can it be done?

    Cities Tree:

Town (Less than 5000 inhabitants) (Vanilla's Town battle map looks)
Large Town (From 5000 to 10000 inhabitants) (Vanilla's Large Town battle map looks)
Small City (From 10000 to 20000 inhabitants) (Vanilla's Minor City battle map looks)
City (From 20000 to 40000 inhabitants) (Vanilla's Large City battle map looks)
Large City (From 40000 to 80000 inhabitants) (Vanilla's Large City battle map looks too)
Huge City (More than 80000 inhabitants) (Vanilla's Huge City battle map looks)

    Castles Tree:

Village (Less than 1250 inhabitants) (Vanilla's Village battle map looks)
Wooden Castle (From 1250 to 2500 inhabitants) (Vanilla's Motte and Bailey battle map looks)
Castle (From 2500 to 5000 inhabitants) (Vanilla's Wooden Castle battle map looks)
Large Castle (From 5000 to 10000 inhabitants) (Vanilla's Castle battle map looks)
Fortress (From 10000 to 20000 inhabitants) (Vanilla's Fortress battle map looks)
Citadel (More than 20000 inhabitants) (Vanilla's Citadel battle map looks)

(Obs: Village moved to the Castles tree)

How can it be done? How can vanilla files be modded to make it be like this?

Help would be most appreciated, regards!

    Hi,

I think it can be done in data/descr_settlement_mechanics. At the bottom of the file you can change the min/max entries of settlement development.

(Don`t forget to turn off the writing protection of the file )

    1. What do you exactly mea "adding village level to castle tree"?

    2. The strat_model files are placed in data/ui/residences, i think :hmmm:. The
battle_models you can find in data/settlements.

f.e.: if you want to get the Kingdoms models to the vanilla campaign: copy and rename them .

    3. No risk if you do correct work
(but i always make backups, `cause there are a lot of potential errors if you even forget a , or space )

    Hope i could help

    Ok, thanks for invitation .

For your castle tree: try to mod the entry in descr_settlement_mechanics and descr_buildings?

BTW: What`s the features of your modding project?

I`m working on a big mod (based on the vanilla) myself. If you want to have look Faction Preview.

    (Do you have skilled Stratmap-Modelers?)
